What is the credit risk centralisation service?

The credit risk centralisation service, also known as the Credit Bureau, aims to provide credit institutions and similar bodies with financial information useful for managing the risks they face in relation to businesses and individuals. The service centralises the provision of credit-related information and scoring services. In this context, Creditinfo collects, processes and consolidates credit information provided by various financial institutions in the market via the Central Bank. This information is then compiled into a credit report and made available to credit institutions, which consult it as part of their credit approval process.

What is the Creditinfo Plus credit report?

For credit institutions, this report serves as a risk assessment tool in the credit approval process; however, the final decision rests with them.
